Download Trend Micro:

• Go to the official Download Center of Trend Micro and select the antivirus program you want to install.
• Click on the appropriate software link based on the operating system you are using to open the download page.
• A different version of Trend Micro software will be present on this page. Based on the configuration of your device, download the correct version of the software.
• Click on the Download Package button to download the Trend Micro setup file.

Install Trend Micro:

• Double-click on the downloaded setup file to run the installer.
• In the User Account Control window that appears click on Yes. The installer will extract the files needed for installation.
• You will be asked to provide your serial number and then click on Next.
• Read the Data Disclosure Notice, click on Next, then Read the License Agreement and click on Agree and Install.
• The installation will begin after that. Click on Next when prompted and then tap the Finish button.

• Read the License Agreement and click on I accept the terms of the license agreement

How to Manually Uninstall Trend Micro Security Agent?

Follow the instructions given below to manually uninstall Trend Micro Security Agent:

Open the Microsoft Windows Services console and stop these services: Trend Micro Security Agent Listener, Trend Micro Security Agent Personal Firewall, Trend Micro Security Agent RealTime Scan, Trend Micro Security Agent NT Proxy Service (Win7 and below), Trend Micro Unauthorized Change Prevention Service and Trend Micro Common Client Solution Framework

Open the Task Manager and stop the following processes: Ntrtscan.exe, PccNTMon.exe, TMBMSRV.exe, TmCCSF.exe, TmListen.exe, Tmproxy.exe, Pccntupd.exe and xpupg.exe

Open the Command Prompt with administrator privileges and execute the following commands:

• regsvr32 /u /s “C:\program files (x86)\trend micro\Security Agent\tmdshell_64x.dll”
• task kill /F /IM explorer.exe
• start explorer.exe

Open the Registry Editor and delete registry keys related to WFBS.

1. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services and delete these keys: Ntrtscan, Tmactmon, TMBMServer, TmCCSF, TMCFW (Windows XP), Tmcomm, TMEBC, Tmeevw, tmevtmgr, TmFilter, Tmlisten, TmPfw, TMPreFilter, Tmusa and VSApiNt
2. Locate and delete the following registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\OfficeScan Monitor

3. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ and delete the following registry keys:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\Wofie

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\{A38F51ED-D01A-4CE4-91EB-B824A00A8BDF}

4. Locate and delete the following registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\, AEGIS, AMSP, NSC, Osprey, and Wolfie

5. Locate and delete the following keys from the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\ registry hive:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Features\DE15F83AA10D4EC419BE8B420AA0B8FD
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\DE15F83AA10D4EC419BE8B420AA0B8FD
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Upgradecodes\8A88AE84D667B304CB368C99791A74A6

Locate …\Trend Micro\BM and …\Trend Micro\Security Agent and delete the SA folder.

From the Start menu delete the program group Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Agent.

Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Select a NIC > Properties > Remove Trend Micro Common Firewall Driver or Trend Micro NDIS 6.0 Filter Driver. Repeat this step to remove each NIC until all Trend Micro Common Firewall Drivers or Trend Micro NDIS 6.0 Filter Drivers are removed.

How to Remove Trend Micro Security Agent without Password?
